Did I do something wrong?

Does anyone else out there in the land of blogging get excited when you log in and you have and new follower? How cool that someone would be interested in coming back to hear what I had to say......

Does anyone else out there in the land of blogging get sad when you log in and you have lost a follower? What goes through your mind.... boy I must be boring....I know I haven't been faithful in writing new entries....or did I offend them....I guess it is just one of those things that I will never know why!

Hootie hoo my daughter Robin ran her 1st half marathon at the Cowtown was crazy....there were over 17,000 runners.....I felt like a slacker stand on the side lines as a spectator and not gave me the same feeling as riding in bicycle rallies especially the Hotter than Hell with over 10,000 cyclist....what a rush!

Your Follower list may go up and down the next few days. Seems that Blogger Followers and Google Friends have been combined. If you used both they made your followers 'private'. In other words they no longer showed up. I know at least one person going around and 'turning back on' the follows that she has.

I didn't know about this till I saw her mention it on twitter because I only used the Blogger Follow so none of my follows went private.

I feel the same way. When I get a new follower, I get so happy.

I recently gained a new follower and then lost one as well. I was sad at first and thought I offended her, but when I looked around on other peoples' blogs I didn't see her there either. So I ended up feeling a tad better

Well, I do TRY not to let it bother me, or get excited, but I do take it personally... lol.

I like having fans! I like that I feel that I can make a difference!

Yes I must admit I love getting new followers. But there is a part where you can follow someone but it not show up so you might have more followers that you dont' know about. Does that make you feel better. YOu could actually be having 20 more people wanting to read you.

It really doesn't matter how often you post. What matters is that you post and that's good.

There's enough bloggers out there already who announce every time they go to the bathroom and that's too much information.

Keep at it!
